Aether Home Cinema Projector
The living-room projector.
Aether stays put. Short-throw cube for apartments and dens that cannot spare a long throw. Native 1080p, 500 ANSI, auto focus, Google TV with Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video on the remote. About 7 feet from lens to screen for a 100-inch picture.
Best in dark or dim rooms. Not ultra-short-throw (it does not sit inches from the wall). Not the one you carry between rooms — that is Luma.
Will it fit?
Measure lens to screen. Aether is short-throw 1.0:1, not ultra-short-throw. It does not sit inches from the wall.
| Image size | Distance (about) |
|---|---|
| 80" | 5.5 ft |
| 100" | 7 ft |
| 120" | 8.5–9 ft |

Aether or Luma?

|---|---|---|
| Job | Home cinema, stays in one room | Portable, room to room |

Pick Aether if this replaces the TV. Pick Luma if you will move it. Neither is an outdoor / daylight projector.

FAQ
Is this ultra-short-throw?
No. Aether is short-throw at 1.0:1. Ultra-short-throw units sit a few inches from the wall. Aether wants a few feet. For a 100-inch image, plan on about 7 feet from lens to screen. For 80-inch, about 5.5 feet. Measure before you buy.
Does it have auto focus?
Yes. Auto focus, six-point keystone, obstacle avoidance, and screen-fit so it finds a pull-down or fixed screen.
Can I watch Netflix, Disney+, YouTube?
Yes on Google TV. Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video are on the remote. Disney+ and others are in the Google TV catalog (availability depends on your account and region). You can always plug in a Fire Stick, Roku, Apple TV, or laptop via HDMI.
Do I need a screen?
A matte-white 16:9 screen looks better than a textured wall. 100-inch is the sweet spot; 120-inch still fits the throw range. The Complete Home Cinema Kit pairs Aether with a 120-inch pull-down.
Will it work in a bright room?
It is at its best in dark or dim rooms. 500 ANSI helps in a lamp-lit den, but daylight on the screen will wash it out. Close blinds or wait until evening.
How loud is it? Can I use a soundbar?
The 12W speaker is fine for a small room. Pair a Bluetooth soundbar or speaker for movie night. HDMI audio from a stick also works.
How long does shipping take?
We email tracking when the order ships. Standard US delivery is typically 5–12 business days from ship date. Free shipping on orders over $250.
What if it arrives dead or I need to return it?
If it will not power on or is damaged, contact us first and we will replace it. 30-day returns on unused items in original packaging. Setup issues (throw, light, source) we can usually fix without a return.
