Do these projectors work in a bright room?
They perform best in dark or dimly lit rooms. Ambient light will wash out the image on any projector in this class. Close blinds or watch after sunset. Trailblaze is after-dark only.
What screen size should I use?
Most people are happiest at 80–120 inches. Start at 100" if you are unsure. Aether (short-throw 1.0:1) fills about 100" from 7 feet and 120" from about 9 feet, max 140". Luma (throw 1.15) fills 100" from about 8 feet, 40–200" from 4.6–23 feet.
Short-throw vs ultra-short-throw — which is Aether?
Aether is short-throw, not ultra-short-throw. UST sits inches from the wall. Aether needs a few feet. Measure lens-to-screen before you buy.
Can I watch Netflix, Disney+, YouTube?
Aether includes Google TV, so Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video are on the remote. Luma, Horizon, and Trailblaze: use HDMI (Fire Stick, Roku, Apple TV, or a laptop) for licensed apps. You can always fall back to HDMI on every model.
Do I need a screen?
A 16:9 matte-white screen beats a textured wall. Kits already include a screen. Aether should not be paired with a UST-only ALR / black-grating screen.
Are they battery powered or waterproof?
They ship with AC adapters. Trailblaze can run off a portable power station for camping. None are waterproof. None are silent all-day sun projectors.
How long does shipping take?
We email tracking when the order ships. Standard US delivery is typically 5–12 business days from ship date. Free shipping on orders over $250.
What is your return and replacement policy?
30-day returns on unused items in original packaging. If a unit arrives damaged or will not power on, contact us first and we will replace it. Most “it looks dim” issues are setup (lights, throw, source) and we can sort those without a return. Email hello@cinehausprojectors.com.
